- Really? Your brother knew Felix Pappalardi? That is cool. Mississippi Queen is not Mountain's best song. Not by a long shot. But Pappalardi was a monster producer, good bass player and fine melody writer.

- Hangin' on the Telephone was written by Jack Lee of the Nerves. It is available on their 4 song ep from 1977 or 78. Also in the Nerves was Peter Case, who started the Plimsouls in 1979 or 1980. This band should be included in any serious discussion of eighties rock.
